Community. Connection. Leadership.

The JGSI Fellowship is a groundbreaking, award-winning training program designed to shape the next generation of Jewish leaders.

Over eight weekly dinner sessions, select Jewish graduate students in the greater Los Angeles area will discuss the fundamentals of Jewish ethics and leadership and enjoy interactive presentations by world-class speakers. Participants will gain the rare opportunity to develop meaningful connections with top Jewish executives, attorneys and community activists, and with each other. The program includes a weekend retreat and exclusive social events and activities. After completing all sessions, participants will receive a stipend of $300.

Last year’s speakers included:

Joseph Essas, CTO, OpenTable
Jerry Levin, Former CEO, Time Warner
Steven Nichols, CEO, K-Swiss
Joseph Sanberg, Founder, Aspiration
Ben Silverman, Founder, Propagate
Nina Tassler, Former Chair, CBS Entertainment
Jon Hirshberg, CEO, JR286 (Nike’s biggest worldwide producer of apparel)

In addition, during the course of the Fellowship, premier nonprofit organizations including the Anti-Defamation League, Bet Tzedek and the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles will present participants with leadership opportunities within the greater Jewish community.

The JGSI Fellowship program is a proud winner of the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles’ “Cutting Edge” grant and a proud beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
